The Introduction

     It has been 9 years since I graduated with a BA in English.  Many things have prompted me to return school.  I am in the first semester of the Master of Public Administration program.  As I expected  the transition has been rough.  I am employed full-time and have classes in the evenings.  Every other week, I  have classes 4 days a week and during my 'short' week, I am in class three times a week.  Everyday, I dream of the endless possibilities that this journey will provide as well as the struggle it will entail. I am still in 'shock' mode with regard to accepting what fulfilling this program will require of me.  I won't say it is bittersweet, but frightfully exciting. I hope to post many entries as I go along.  This seems likely, since most of my time is spent at my desk by my laptop.  That, and I am in love with language and it's expression.  Feel free to comment and share your experiences with me.  With that being said, let's see what this ride has to offer!
